Thanks for watching X Games!
Pär “Peyben” Hägglund is a Swedish freeski creative known for his artistic vision, filmmaking, and technical flair in ski culture. He gained recognition through multiple medals—including Real Ski silver at X Games—and by co-founding the rider-owned ski brand 1000 Skis, which emphasizes sustainability, design integrity, and creative independence. Originally a competitive ski racer, Peyben gravitated toward creative projects in the ski world, directing, producing, and filming as part of the collective known as “The Bunch.” His nickname, “Peyben,” now stands for a blend of athlete and auteur. As part of 1000 Skis, he helped launch a line of thoughtfully designed skis produced in Sweden, prioritizing eco-friendly materials, inclusive design, and authentic storytelling. His progression reflects a shift from racing to spearheading a movement that blends art, identity, and environmental consciousness in skiing.
